Jan Paul Schwarz Joins Mother Berlin as New Business Director
Mother Berlin has appointed Jan Paul Schwarz as new business director, bringing one of Germany's most established agency growth specialists into the team to build on Mother’s recent momentum.
Jan Paul has spent more than a decade in the industry, with roles at Heimat and most recently as director of new business at TBWA\London, where he gained international experience across the UK market. More recently, he worked as an independent consultant, partnering with agencies on sustainable growth strategies; which is how he first engaged with Mother.
The collaboration proved a natural fit. Jan Paul's understanding of the German market, combined with international perspective, has already contributed to a successful run for the Berlin office – including winning SumUp, Lufthansa Group, and other well-known brands to be announced in due course.
Mother Berlin aims to follow a path established by its other offices, which have all seen significant recognition in recent years. The Berlin team is building a distinct flavour of that success, rooted in Germany but connected to the global Mother Family.
Jan Paul's appointment is about strengthening that trajectory: raising the agency's profile with marketing decision-makers in Germany, getting into the right conversations, and continuing to produce distinctive work.
