RESISTER has welcomed Jamie Marks to its ever expanding music supervision team.

Jamie stepped into the role of music supervisor at the start of January 2026. She’ll be working across advertising campaigns, film and TV, and the full range of services RESISTER offers.

Jamie says “What drew me to the company immediately was the culture and the people. RESISTER actively encourages growth, empowerment and individuality, and gives you the space to develop into the best all-round creative. I’m excited to support the team across all areas of the business and to help share RESISTER’s message, championing women and underrepresented voices in music.”

Hannah Charman, co-founder and managing director says, “Having Jamie join the team is a very exciting moment in the next steps for RESISTER. Her tenacity and love for music supervision makes her an absolute force to be reckoned with. It feels like she’s been part of the team for years and aligns so well with everything we do here and I’m sure she’ll flourish with the support and camaraderie of the whole crew. I’m excited to see her develop and lean into her endless strengths.”

Before joining RESISTER, Jamie worked as a music supervisor at MassiveMusic. Her journey into music supervision hasn’t followed a traditional path, having worn many hats along the way: recording studio manager, singing and dance teacher, recruiter, PA to the managing director of a composer management company, curator of playlists spotlighting emerging talent, a butcher, a baker, a candlestick maker…!

She’s especially drawn to purpose-led work, which sits at the heart of what RESISTER does. Projects that stand for something bigger. “Some of my most meaningful work includes Two Hours, a campaign addressing youth knife crime in the UK, in partnership with JE Delve; This Girl Can x Sport England, which champions women in movement at every stage of life and from all walks of life; and work with the EY Foundation, supporting young people from lower-income backgrounds and helping connect them with employers who recognise their potential. These projects, to name just a few, reinforced my belief that music has the power to elevate storytelling and contribute to real cultural and social impact.”

Co-founder and ECD Hollie Hutton, says “Jamie’s passion for our mission stood out immediately, and we knew she’d be a great fit in the next phase of our growing team. She has an infectious energy which is very inspiring and will no doubt put her in great stead to help us build the advertising side of the business in particular.”

Jamie adds, “Joining RESISTER honestly feels like such a privilege. From the outset, I’ve been met with genuine support, trust and encouragement, and being part of a company run by two inspiring women who actively champion creativity and individuality has been incredibly empowering. RESISTER feels intimate, bold and unafraid to challenge the status quo. It’s far more than a music agency, it feels deeply aligned with how I want to work and the kind of impact I hope to have in the industry.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to create work that asks questions, causes disruption where needed (respectfully of course), and helps rebalance gender inequality across the industry. As a mother of two young girls, being part of something that actively works to change the future and expand the platforms available to the next generation feels incredibly personal. If I can play even a small part in helping build that stage, I’m in.”
