Imagine This Expands Live Action Roster with Three Distinctive Directors

​Imagine This has recruited three distinctive new voices to its live action roster for representation across the US, UK and Netherlands: director-photographer Ollie Ali, director Toshiki Yashiro, and director Rhoddy Jensen. Each brings a fresh sensibility to the studio’s growing slate of multidisciplinary creative talent.

Ollie Ali's recent project with Imagine This for Brugal captures that instinct beautifully, marking a reunion with CEO Toby Walsham after a year-and-a-half hiatus since their previous collaborations on brands such as Courvoisier and New Balance.

Toshiki Yashiro, born in Tokyo and raised in Boston, is a director and writer whose work moves between art, fashion and film. Toshiki has developed a cinematic voice that feels both intimate and expansive, emotionally resonant yet beautifully composed. An exciting new signing for Imagine This, he joins the roster as his first ever production company home.

His award-winning short film Tokyo Animals premiered at Slamdance and the Brooklyn Film Festival, earning acclaim for its stunning cinematography and quiet emotional gravity. Toshiki’s work for Loewe and Asics continues this signature mix of elegance, rhythm and humanity expressing a deeply Japanese sensibility with a modern global perspective.

I’ve always admired the poetry of Japanese cinema, and Toshiki captures that same visual language that is deeply powerful. He’s a raw and exciting talent. Rhoddy Jensen is a Los Angeles-based director whose work bridges high-octane filmmaking with character-driven storytelling. From the world of action sports and automotive, his early films were defined by kinetic energy, inventive editing, and a music-first sense of pacing.

“Now, Rhoddy’s focus has evolved toward crafting witty, memorable narratives stories that move fast, hit hard, and linger because they make you laugh or think. His style fuses cinematic precision with humour that feels lived-in and human.
