​Nexus Studios, in collaboration with Meta, Blumhouse, and Universal Pictures, has launched Blumhouse Enhanced Cinema, a virtual reality home cinema experience. The app, available exclusively to Meta Quest, features iconic Blumhouse movies such as M3GAN and The Black Phone with enhanced visual effects that spill out from the screen into the viewer’s space. The experience delivers more of the suspense, dread, and terror audiences love.

Announced at Meta Connect, the experience is available October 9th on the Meta Horizon store. Perfect for long-time fans of the films, or for a first-time watch, the experience brings a new level of immersion to home cinema, letting viewers feel closer to the action and more engaged.

The experience includes immersive effects and Dolby Atmos spatial sound so the cinema surrounds you. Watch M3GAN in the woods as your walls fall away and reveal a dark, misty forest. Shield your face as shattered glass flies off the screen, and brace yourself for impact as explosions fill your room. From chilling ambient effects to the eerie presence of characters close by, this is horror made to be felt.
