After debuting its Taika Waititi-directed Big Game ad, Xfinity’s ‘Jurassic Park… Works’ campaign continues on the ground in San Francisco extending through Super Bowl weekend in a collaborative effort from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Carmichael Lynch, reports LBB’s Abi Lightfoot

After bringing Steven Spielberg’s ‘Jurassic Park’ back to life in its national Super Bowl debut, Comcast Xfinity’s ‘Jurassic Park… Works’ campaign has extended across the streets of San Francisco and on social media.

A collaboration between Omnicom sister agencies Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Carmichael Lynch, the ‘Jurassic Park… Works’ campaign extends across platforms and on the ground in San Fancisco through Super Bowl weekend.

The campaign officially launched this week. However eagle-eyed fans could have got an early  glimpse of what was to come. Basketball fans in Philadelphia – the hometown of both Xfinity and the Sixers – saw an unbranded preview in the arena, while social media users got a chance to sleuth out some prehistoric clues as to what was to come.

In San Francisco, dinosaurs have announced their presence in the city by showing up in iconic locations, including a motion-sensing T. rex billboard at 901 Market Street, and roaring dinosaur projection on the Hobart Building.

And since the campaign launched, Xfinity has been dropping social content that brings the whole campaign together, including a video of Laura Dern admitting that unfortunately she does love many traits that are key to her ‘Jurassic Park’ character, Dr. Ellie Sattler.

Finally, for fans wanting to travel ‘Jurassic Park’-style, Xfinity has partnered with Lyft ads to offer fans a unique immersive experience as it transforms nine vehicles into ‘Jurassic Park’ tour cars.
