Short Film 'VACÍO' Makes Spanish Premiere

Mamma Team celebrates the national premiere and reveal of the official poster ofVACÍO, a short film directed by Javier Cano Larumbe and starring María Valverde, Tomeu Artigas, and Javier Beltrán.

With its powerful performances and unsettling atmosphere, VACÍO will celebrate its national premiere on Wednesday, October 29th, at ALCINE – Alcalá de Henares International Film Festival, a prestigious event recognised as a qualifying festival for both the Goya Awards and the Oscars.

The film has also been selected for the Castilla y León International Fantasy Film Festival, where it will be screened on Thursday, October 30th.

Synopsis

“All children are afraid of the dark. But for Félix, an eight-year-old boy, this darkness is different. It’s dense, corporeal, and hides something sinister. A terrifying presence has settled in his home, threatening to destroy what he loves most.”

The piece is produced together by Forty Entertainment, Mamma Team, and Arcadia Motion Pictures, and distributed by Selected Films Distribution. Made with the collaboration of Orlando Films, Engine Room HollyWood and Pijama Studio.
