Kaleb Sindac, Kerrie Heckel, Rodrigo Rothschild and Chuy Hernandez have been elevated to partner roles

Bakery has elevated four longtime agency leaders to partner roles, strengthening the independent shop’s creative and operational leadership bench.

Kaleb Sindac steps into the role of EVP, head of design, and Kerrie Heckel assumes the title of executive creative director after seven and five years at Bakery, respectively. Both are products of the agency's heavy commitment to training and growing ambitious young talent, having risen from mid-level creative roles to ownership.

Rodrigo Rothschild has also been elevated to executive creative director after nearly six years at the agency. Previously, Rodrigo, widely known as Rotch, has had creative director stints at VML, Latinworks, and DDB. He continues his longtime creative partnership with Jose "Hache" Hernandez, ECD, who joined Bakery earlier this year from Leo Burnett Chicago. Both have worked together previously at VML and Latinworks, with their work being recognised at Cannes and The One Show.

Chuy Hernandez has been named EVP, executive producer and managing partner at Bakery. He will also serve as president and co-founder of Supernatural, the content arm of Bakery's growing roster of agencies which also includes full-service media agency KEN. Chuy has been an agency producer for over 16 years, having worked with other Austin darlings such as Preacher and Callen, and globally with Omnicom, Stagwell, Saatchi & Saatchi, Droga5, and Burrell.

The appointments formalise the leadership that has helped drive Bakery’s growth over the past several years, including major wins and launches across Nike, Tree Hut, Shiner, Sendero Provisions, and Diageo.

“They may be new partners, but they're well-known faces to our team and our clients. These four have been instrumental in shaping the work, the culture, and the future we’re building,” said Micky Ogando, founder and CCO of Bakery. “This is overdue recognition of the impact they already have on the agency every day.”

All partners are based in Austin and assume their new roles immediately.
