For its annual adventure at Bye Bye 2025, BMO partners with TBWA\Canada to take us on a whirlwind of hilarious escapades from the North Pole to Quebec living rooms to dancing through northern lights on a beautiful starry night.
BMO's sparkling employee, played by Noémie Yelle - now firmly entrenched in Quebec's collective consciousness - comes to the rescue of a rather unusual client: Santa Claus himself, whose sleigh has broken down on Christmas Eve, of all nights. Thanks to the BMO help desk, used as the story's central device and blessed with the ability to pop up anywhere, she manages to support him on his gift-giving rounds.
The story, peppered with wild situations, serves up a string of funny, heart warming, and surprising moments that showcase BMO's closeness and support. Throughout this long Christmas night, camaraderie kicks in and friendship blossoms between our two protagonists, until we see them ring in the New Year together, sharing one last moment at a New Year's Eve celebration.
The story notably stars Normand D'Amour as Santa Claus, with a cameo from Anglesh Major - much to the delight of Quebec fiction fans.
"For the fourth year running, BMO's participation in this holiday tradition shows our commitment to being rooted in local culture, right at the heart of the traditions that bring Quebecers together. Having the chance to wish people a Happy New Year with humour and creativity is a privilege that comes with a deep sense of pride and gratitude. This renewed presence drives home loud and clear the place the brand now holds in Quebec's cultural landscape," says Mélanie Miron, managing director, brand, Quebec, BMO Financial Group.

"It's safe to say that BMO's brand platform is firmly anchored in consumers' minds. The idea of using the BMO help desk as a holiday symbol to lend Santa a helping hand fits perfectly with our ongoing stories, where BMO steps into unusual situations to make people's lives easier. And thanks to our partners, we've managed to create a universe that truly transports you - especially with an original musical composition by Lamajeure that captures our adventure's humorous tone," notes Sylvain Dufresne, VP, head of creative, TBWA Montréal (formerly FCB Montréal).
With Bye Bye, BMO reinforces its role as a trusted partner, present in the moments that matter to Quebecers, both financially and culturally. This year, BMO is boosting their visibility throughout the holiday season, with a campaign rolled out across billboards, branches, online, and social media.
