Following Omnicom's decision to retire the formerly IPG-owned MullenLowe brand globally, Attivo Group-owned 303 MullenLowe in Australia has rebranded to 303.
The agency said it marks a return to its "independent roots" and its original name. 303 formed in Perth in 1991, then expanded into Sydney. In 2016, it became 303 MullenLowe. In 2021, IPG sold a majority stake in the agency to Attivo.

“The team is embracing the opportunity to take the wheel of the agency’s future direction at a local level," said Attivo's executive chair ANZ, Anthony Gregorio.
"With so much change at a multi-national level, it’s a great opportunity to take a capability-rich offering to market under a single brand, providing an end-to-end solution to clients with strategic orchestration at the core.”
303 said it will continue its "commitment to integration" by combining media, creative, strategy, digital, PR, and retail activation.
Attivo Group CEO ANZ, Sue Squillace, added, “The 303 MullenLowe brand has been synonymous with creative effectiveness and behavioural change, testament to which have been its longstanding client partnerships and numerous awards, including multiple Effies, over the years.
"It has built a strong local position, based on its ability to help the ambitious brands of Australia, particularly those with a conviction to stand for something and effect real change. And it will continue to offer a combined suite of services that deliver agile solutions for clients. It’s an exciting future ahead.”
303 remains majority-owned by Attivo Group. The ownership structure of sister agency Mediahub also remains unchanged.
It has offices across Perth, Sydney, and Auckland, and works on clients including Budget Direct, OMO, Weet-Bix, St John WA, Lotterywest, and Safework NSW. Across AUNZ, it works with brands such as Sanitarium and Bayer. In 2025 alone, the agency has won SafeWork NSW, NSW Environment Protection Authority, Netball WA, Levande Retirement Living, The Push Up Challenge and WA Museum.
Other Attivo agencies include Tonic Communications, Farrimond, DNY, Hill Holliday, and The Next Practice.
Following its acquisition of IPG to form the world's largest holding company, this week Omnicom confirmed it will retire the DDB, FCB, and MullenLowe brands, consolidating its creative stable to feature BBDO, TBWA, and McCann.
Locally, DDB Australia will be folded into Clemenger BBDO, while in New Zealand, DDB and FCB will combine to form McCann New Zealand. In Wellington, Clemenger and FCB will become McCann Wellington.
